Welcome to visitors from ULearn10

Today I am talking to other teachers about the work we do on our blog. Welcome to anyone who is visiting from the conference in Christchurch! I hope you enjoy our work.

Thanks Harry! The teachers were really inspired. I hope they email me their blogs so you can visit blogs at other schools. 🙂

    Hi Vashti,

I hope the other teachers like the blog. I forgot to comment when you asked the parents about the blog a while back. Anyway, I think the blog is great. I know it’s quite YouTube link-centric at the moment but some of the stories that Conor and the others have written have been great. I know that when Conor writes his stuff, he thinks about spelling, punctuation and paragraphs, which is great.

Conor will write on the blog frequently and under his own steam, while he hardly ever sits down and writes a story in his homework book, say.

Another great thing about the blog is that I also find out about what is going on in class.

Thank you Owen- that’s valuable feedback. I will ask for parent feedback again once school recommences. Asking in the holidays was not a great idea, but your response is extremely helpful.

      🙂 Vashti
