It takes a few minutes in the morning before school!
Blogs are certainly the way to go and the http://www.littledayout.co.nz is actually a WordPress blog. The LDO site shows what can be done with blogs with a little know how. Blogs are cheap to run, easy to update and need no programming skills.

EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
last night in wanaka we had a earthquake. It was massive. The lights were shaking. On the scale it was 7.8 which is very high. My Mum has never felt an earthquake that big before and she used to live in Wellington.there was 3 earthquakes. The first one at 9.20 pm then another small one at 9.40 and then another at 2.30 am
